Ireland

Today was a pretty chill day. We went for a walk around a few of the game shops, before going into Dublin centre, and getting lunch, followed by a trip to the cinema to watch Venom.

After the movie, we went back to their house, played games for a few hours, before I said my goodbyes and left for the airport, ready to leave early the next morning.

Had half a day at work this morning, then it's been almost 3 hours of buses, trains, and taxis to get from there to the airport.

I've never flown from East Midlands Airport before, even though it is the closest to where I live, and I hope I don't need to use it often, as it is a fairly bland airport, with very few flights to watch to pass the time.

Waiting for the flight now, won't be in Dublin til past 10pm, and the hotel probably midnight, so I doubt there'll be any more updates for today.

I fly out late tomorrow. So I have finally managed to check in, and get my boarding pass... God, Ryanair are a pain when it comes to this. I had my boarding pass a lot earlier than 48 hours before the flight when flying with Emirates a few months ago.

A few days on the Emerald Isle, spending time with a friend

Not really a long holiday this time, just hoping over the Irish sea to spend a few days with a friend, and explore the city a little.

It's been almost 20 years since I was last in Ireland, but I can barely remember anything about it. As such, I will probably get lost if I'm on my own, so I'm glad I have a friend with me to be a bit of a tour guide.

I'll hopefully be posting pictures, my friend may be too, so follow her Twitter on the off-chance that she does: @Imalune
